Technology
We use cPanel v6 software suite combined to provide a web-based
interface for total account management. cPanel v6 is used to
manage all the client-side aspects of account management such
as the set-up of multiple email addresses, FTP accounts, MySQL
databases and the viewing of website visitor statistics.
Hardware
We make use of only the best possible hardware available. A standard
server configuration would be a Supermicro Dual Intel Pentium
3 server, including 1GB of RAM and dual 36GB SCSI, for added
data protection. We use only the leading brand names for all
components, including Crucial, IBM, Intel and Tyan.
Servers run RedHat Linux 7.3 using a 2.4.x kernel, with a heavily
optimised Apache web server for maximum website efficiency. Server
loads are monitored carefully to ensure that load times remain
fast 24 hours a day.
Data Center
We utilize 3 first class datacenters in North America to serve
our needs. We use the VDI and NAC datacenters in New Jersey
along with the Colo4Dallas datacenter in Dallas. Each datacenter
features a fully redundant BGP4 enabled network which increases
uptime and overall network speed. All 3 datacenters feature
multiple fiber connects with bandwidth provided by tier 1 carriers
such as Verio, UUNet, Level3, Yipes, Qwest, AOL Timewarner
and AT&T.
Security
The data center features high level security, raised flooring,
climate-control, UPS power supply, fire suppression system
as well as multiple redundant connections to major backbones.
It is also equipped with backup batteries and diesel generators
to ensure failsafe power supply, as well as quality Cisco routers
and switches. All servers are secured in a state of the art environment
and are monitored by qualified system administrators and engineers
24 hours a day ensuring prompt response and thorough coverage
to fire or security alarms. Dual power feeds backed up with UPS,
rectifiers, batteries and generators ensure our customers have
near zero down time.
Additionally, the data center uses industry-standard SNMP (Simple
Network Management Protocol) and provides round-the-clock monitoring
of all hardware, including routers, switches, UPS systems, and
servers. Power, environmental factors (such as temperature and
humidity), generator status, and network connectivity are also
monitored. All critical services/ports are monitored, including
FTP, HTTP, SMTP, HTTPS, SSH and POP3.
In summary, with a combination of technical experience, the
latest technology, and quality network hardware, our data center
is one of the most reliable networks in the region. We have deployed
and continue to develop our network to provide the speed and
reliability the businesses and consumers demand, at an affordable
price.
